Ruben Harding
ESG Manager
Ruben is a Manager at RSM Netherlands Business Consulting Services with a strong focus on ESG, sustainability and culture and behaviour. Ruben has over 6 years of experience and is based out of our Schiphol-Hoofddorp office where our International Services consultants are housed.
Prior to joining RSM Business Consulting, Ruben worked as a project manager for the Managing Director of RSM Netherlands. In that role he initiated, set up and institutionalized strategic, creative and commercial projects. Ruben also has experience as Environmental Governance Project Officer for the Gas Alert for Sustainable Initiative in Nigeria. He has designed and delivered training on conflict prevention and resolution in local communities affected by climate change and oil extraction.
Ruben took the bachelor's degree in Future Planet Studies at the University of Amsterdam. This interdisciplinary research focuses on finding innovative solutions to global issues, such as climate change and socioeconomic inequality. In 2015, Ruben completed the master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University. In 2019, Ruben attended the Positive Power and Influence Program at Bureau Zuidema, in 2022 Ruben studied Strategic Foresight at Nyenrode Business University and completed a Post Academic Master in Innovation and Change Management at Utrecht Business School where he focused on successful implementation of sustainability strategies.
Ruben has a broad portfolio of internationally active clients and a sector focus on clients operating in financial services, manufacturing and international trade and logistics. He provides future perspectives by assessing ESG-risks and opportunities. His focus lies on strategic advisory, in specific by creating awareness and counselling on ESG-trends and its implications for organizations. Ruben is also leading the ESG European Desk.
