David Boekel
Manager Impact Reporting
David is a Manager with RSM Netherlands Business Consulting Services with a strong focus on ESG, sustainability and transparency. David has over 16 years of experience and is based out of our office in Schiphol-Hoofddorp where are our International Services consultants are seated.
Prior to joining Business Consulting, David worked as an audit manager for RSM auditing large sized family businesses and the upper mid-market.
David has a broad portfolio of internationally active clients and an industry focus on clients active in Financial Services, Manufacturing, and International Trade & Logistics.
David completed the master and postmaster program Audit and Assurance at the University of Amsterdam and became a Registeraccountant (Dutch CPA) in 2016. This education created a strong background in reporting. In 2020, David completed the Executive program ESG Assurance at the University of Groningen Business School. This executive program on Environmental, Social and Governance reporting and assurance gives David the strong ESG background.
David is requested often as an expert in the field of ESG contributing to podcasts, webinars and is co-author of the book "How to deal with the Green Deal" providing 40 tips to the mid-market. Next to that he is an active member of the NBA taskforce on ESG assurance and the international ESG desk of RSM.
